Leading in the Lord
It was so great to see so many parents on Wednesday as the third graders led chapel. They did a fantastic job. It is so important to give kids opportunities for leadership and service at an early age, helping them see that these types of activities can and should be a part of their lives as they grow.
For those of you who were unable to be here, the students focused on three ways we can encourage each other as the saints of God: help each other make good choices, be strong examples, and cheer each other on.

Whole Group Reading will emphasize poems and monitoring understanding while reading.

SPELLING: 5a-Dipthongs ou, ow
We will be focusing on words containing the dipthong ou and ow. Our spelling test will be on Thursday, November 5th. Please check the Spelling City website for our current spelling list and corresponding activities.

No School November 6: There will be no school this Thursday and Friday due to a teacher conference.
Parent-Teacher Conferences: It was a pleasure to meet with so many of you at parent-teacher conferences as we seek to help our kids be everything God has made them to be.
