Third Grade Chapel
The students are excited about leading chapel this coming week, as we consider All Saints Day, which is on November 1st. It's a time when we remember those believers who have already joined Christ in heaven, but it can also be a time when we remember who we are as Christ's saints here on earth. As Christ's forgiven followers, we are his saints, and we need to live like it. May God give us the wisdom and strength to do so.

A Few Additional Thoughts...
No School October 29-30: There will be no school this Thursday and Friday due to a teacher in-service and parent-teacher conferences.
Third Grade Chapel: Third grade will be leading chapel on Wednesday, October 28th, at 8:30. The theme is All Saints Day. Parents are certainly invited to join us as always!
Parent-Teacher Conferences: Conferences will be held on the evening of October 29th and the morning of October 30th. Thanks to those of you who have signed up. Almost all of you are on the list!
School Book Fair: Our school book fair will take place October 30-November 11th. In addition, there will be an online book fair beginning October 25th. Both of these are ways that you can help to support our school libraries.
Chapel Offering: Chapel offerings from the first quarter will benefit Feed My Starving Children, a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God's children hungry in body and spirit. Students went home with a small canister of M&Ms that they can use for offerings. Filling the canister with quarters feeds a lot of people. Look at the container for more information. Also, check out Feed My Starving Children on the internet if you would like to know more about that organization.
