For we are Christ’s handiwork
created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.

For it is by grace
you have been saved, through faith-- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast
You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength…. You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
Our Father who art in heaven.
Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Fear not,
for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine.
These are written
so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.
Show proper respect to everyone you meet.
Love the brotherhood of believers. Fear God, and honor the king.
All things were created
through Him and for Him. And He is before all things. And in Him all things hold together |
Each week, I post the memory verse for the week, along with a song that goes with the verse.
Memory work will be tested the last day of each school week. Ideas for Learning Memory Work • Practice every day. • Discuss its meaning. • Write the verse. • Say the verse out loud. • Pray the verse. • Sing the verse. • Put it everywhere. • Make it a game. • Recite in different voices. • Say it with actions. • Make a puzzle out of it. • Practice it in the car. • Write it on a white board and erase words.
